In this workshop we experience how our awareness of the space around our bodies (our peripersonal space) generates coordinative support, giving us more choice about our ways of being present in the world.
- Understand how the principle of tensional integrity (tensegrity) organizes flexible structures, including the body.
- Experience perceptual tensegrity— an invisible network of active vectors within and outside the body that improve balance and coordination.
- Feel how spatial orientation re-distributes muscular effort for greater ease.
- Use these principles to enliven basic yoga asanas.
