There are so many options out there for learning physical and mental relaxation, it’s almost stressful trying to figure out what might work! Even though
I’m a physical therapist, I still have to do a regular ‘unwinding’ of my own body and mind so that I can continue to stay healthy and support my clients.Over
the years, I’ve developed a sequence of self-massage techniques, yoga poses, movement therapy and self-reflection that is my weekly go-to practice,
and I’m here to share it with you.
In this workshop, we will learn new self-massage techniques, selected yoga poses designed to open the shoulder and pelvic girdles, therapeutic movements that reconnect you with your deepest self, and a self-reflection practice as a precursor to meditation. You’ll receive a handout with the practice laid out for you to repeat at home (including a shortened version for days when time is limited).
