Yoga of Awakening
Join Tatiana Urquiza for these two workshops on
Breath (Pranayama) and Meditation (Dhyana)

Saturday September 22 and October 20

Mechanics of Breathing • Saturday, September 22, 2:00-4:30 PM
The act of breathing is an invitation to connect to the primal force of the universe. To liberate this force inside us, connect us to a deep inner healing power, ‘to make whole,’ conjoins us to the deep potential the natural breath has on our inner organs, our emotions, attitudes and conditioning. We discover a deeper dimension of inner quiet and clarity, free of judgment and criticism, an acceptance of ‘WHAT IS,’ known as Presence. This workshop will integrate the goals of a Hatha practice using pranayama to subdue an overactive brain, and to stimulate the underactive spiritual power.

Fall in Love with Meditation • Saturday, October 20, 2:00-4:30 PM
The goal of meditation is to experience the nature of the Self, and the freedom that comes with self-knowledge. Come explore the many practices which will assist you to become more familiar with the energetic substance of your own mind. Experience, expand and reinvigorate your practice and fall in love with the natural state of meditation. From basic techniques for regular sitting to refining your inner focus, catch the inward current towards a state of quiet, contentment, focus, letting go, creativity, structure, and freedom.
